Pour sa 23e \u00e9dition, le Festival Photo La Gacilly accueille \u00e0 nouveau Vincent Munier avec Le Chant des For\u00eats<\/em>, une s\u00e9rie consacr\u00e9e aux paysages et \u00e0 la faune des Vosges. Du 1er juin au 4 octobre 2026, ses images s\u2019inscrivent dans le parcours en plein air du festival, plac\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e sous le signe d’un anniversaire, \u00ab 1826-2026 : la photographie, une aventure fran\u00e7aise \u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Un retour aux for\u00eats de l\u2019enfance<\/h3>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir photographi\u00e9 les loups de l\u2019Arctique, les panth\u00e8res des neiges ou encore le grand t\u00e9tras, Vincent Munier revient l\u00e0 o\u00f9 son regard de photographe animalier s\u2019est construit : les for\u00eats des Vosges. Accompagn\u00e9 de son p\u00e8re, le naturaliste Michel Munier, et de son fils Simon, il y retrouve une nature famili\u00e8re mais jamais tout \u00e0 fait apprivois\u00e9e. Le photographe privil\u00e9gie l\u2019aff\u00fbt, la patience et la discr\u00e9tion pour saisir un oiseau sur une branche givr\u00e9e, des biches dans la brume, un cerf au moment du brame ou l\u2019apparition furtive d\u2019un lynx.<\/p>\n

Une photographie fond\u00e9e sur la patience<\/h3>\n

\u00c0 La Gacilly, Le Chant des For\u00eats<\/em> prolonge le travail de Vincent Munier sur une photographie animali\u00e8re d\u00e9barrass\u00e9e de toute recherche de spectaculaire. Ses images reposent sur l\u2019attente et sur une relation presque silencieuse avec le vivant. La for\u00eat devient ainsi un espace de contemplation, o\u00f9 la lumi\u00e8re, le brouillard et les mouvements des animaux composent des sc\u00e8nes \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re du r\u00e9el et de l\u2019imaginaire. Cette approche rejoint l\u2019un des axes forts du festival 2026, consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du vivant et aux diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res de regarder la nature.<\/p>\n

De la photographie au cin\u00e9ma<\/h3>\n

Cette exposition prend une r\u00e9sonance particuli\u00e8re apr\u00e8s le succ\u00e8s du documentaire Le Chant des For\u00eats<\/em>, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 autour de cette m\u00eame immersion vosgienne et sorti au cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 l\u2019hiver 2025-2026. Le film a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par un C\u00e9sar en f\u00e9vrier 2026, donnant une nouvelle visibilit\u00e9 au travail du photographe. \u00c0 La Gacilly, les photographies permettent de revenir \u00e0 l\u2019origine de cette aventure : le temps long de l\u2019aff\u00fbt, la proximit\u00e9 avec les animaux et cette volont\u00e9 de montrer que le sauvage existe encore, parfois tout pr\u00e8s de nous. Une mani\u00e8re, pour Vincent Munier, de d\u00e9fendre une \u00e9cologie fond\u00e9e moins sur le discours que sur l\u2019\u00e9merveillement.<\/p>\n
