Une r\u00e9habilitation qu&#8217;exprime une photographie notamment, de Man Ray : &#8220;Lili tenant l&#8217;Objet d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able&#8221; (1931). Jusqu\u2019au 9 f\u00e9vrier 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Des \u00ab\u00a0objets\u00a0\u00e0 fonctionnement symbolique\u00a0\u00bb animent l&#8217;imaginaire de Giacometti dans les ann\u00e9es 30. Les \u00e9crits du pensionnaire de la Bastide, auteur des histoires de Justine et de Juliette, et les 120 journ\u00e9es de Sodome, trouvent une forme plastique aupr\u00e8s du sculpteur suisse. Il abandonne ses figures humaines filiformes pour une courte s\u00e9rie de sculptures surr\u00e9alistes aussi lisses qu\u2019expressives. Ces oeuvres, appel\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0objets d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ables\u00a0\u00bb pour certaines, pr\u00e9sentent des formes pures et homog\u00e8nes dans leur composition, mais avec toujours un d\u00e9tail qui remet en contexte l\u2019\u00e9crit \u00e0 l\u2019origine de l&#8217;interpr\u00e9tation. En t\u00e9moignent ces petits pics au bout de l\u2019objet dit &#8220;d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able&#8221; \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9vocation phallique. Cette sc\u00e8ne, immortalis\u00e9e par Man Ray, rend le spectateur trouble face \u00e0 cette femme, Lili, qui fixe ces \u00ab\u00a0malformations\u00a0\u00bb et accentue l\u2019effet de malaise.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u00ab Lautr\u00e9amont un peu gonfl\u00e9, il crie toujours trop fort, Sade est plus moderne et d\u00e9pouill\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0<em>\u00bb<\/em>, note Giacometti dans ses carnets.\u00a0Objets sexuels ou silhouettes d\u00e9sirantes, Giacometti a su interpr\u00e9ter avec force les \u00e9crits du Marquis, que l\u2019autrice et critique litt\u00e9raire Annie Le Brun d\u00e9fini comme un &#8221;<em>bloc d\u2019ab\u00eeme au milieu du paysage des Lumi\u00e8res<\/em>&#8221;. Formes diverses et vari\u00e9es trouvent leur place \u00e0 l\u2019Institut Giacometti pour une exposition d\u00e9complex\u00e9e sur Sade, l\u2019un des penseurs les plus controvers\u00e9s de la R\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n\n<p>L&#8217;Institut Giacometti est ouvert sur r\u00e9servation.
