Alors que le caract\u00e8re algorithmique des diff\u00e9rents Index de Art &amp; Language (les ensembles d\u2019instructions n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 leur construction et leur utilisation) ont anticip\u00e9 les m\u00e9dias sociaux sur de nombreux aspects, les utilisateurs ou op\u00e9rateurs de ces Index ne se limitaient que rarement \u00e0 suivre les codes d\u2019un comportement exclusivement positif (+) ou n\u00e9gatif (-). En effet, la complexit\u00e9 \u00e9vidente de ces contenus \u00e9tait telle, que ces contenus ont produit ou plut\u00f4t ont \u00ab\u00a0suscit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb entre eux\u00a0 des relations \u00ab\u00a0transformatrices\u00a0\u00bb (T). Il \u00e9tait peu probable que ces op\u00e9rateurs se retrouvent dans un syst\u00e8me binaire simpliste de \u00ab\u00a0j\u2019aime\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0j\u2019aime pas\u00a0\u00bb. Utiliser un Index a toujours g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 des d\u00e9fis et des contradictions.<\/p>\n<p>Les mat\u00e9riaux (les contenus) avec lesquels les Index fonctionnent sont largement dot\u00e9s d\u2019un pouvoir auto-po\u00e9tique : alors qu\u2019ils sont \u00e0 certains \u00e9gards des contenus r\u00e9flexifs (\u00ab\u00a0sur\u00a0\u00bb l\u2019Art et Art &amp; Language), \u00e0 d\u2019autres \u00e9gards, cette r\u00e9flexivit\u00e9 a produit aussi un contenu discursif externe. Les Index ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits et exploit\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 donner un sens \u00e0 tout cela. Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que les projets d\u2019indexation se sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s &#8211; dans le \u00ab Handbook to Going-On \u00bb ou \u00ab Blurting in Art &amp; Language \u00bb, ils ont abord\u00e9 de plus en plus souvent des sujets qui, au premier abord ont sembl\u00e9 triviaux ou d\u00e9pourvus de sens. Ces sujets se sont \u00e0 maintes reprises av\u00e9r\u00e9s tr\u00e8s significatifs pour d\u00e9finir les fronti\u00e8res spirituelles de ces projets (comme photographier votre d\u00eener, pour ainsi dire). Les Index \u00e9taient des choses lucioliques, fond\u00e9es sur l&#8217;id\u00e9e que les cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives et les critiques du modernisme avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es par les entreprises institutionnelles du capitalisme moderne\u00a0; et que des projets et des productions artistiques radicalement incomplets et instables seraient les substrats d\u2019une r\u00e9sistance et d\u2019un retour de la n\u00e9gativit\u00e9 critique. C<\/p>\n<p>ela impliquait de garder les Index hors de port\u00e9e de l\u2019institution capitaliste. Aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est cela qui nous inqui\u00e8te : en se d\u00e9veloppant, les m\u00e9dias sociaux semblent \u00a0non seulement s\u2019\u00eatre align\u00e9s sur les absurdit\u00e9s et les pitreries de \u00a0\u00abvaleurs boursi\u00e8res\u00bb de la part de leurs propri\u00e9taires, mais aussi s\u2019\u00eatre align\u00e9s sur une \u00abherm\u00e9neutique\u00bb solipsiste de consommation de la part de leurs utilisateurs. Les complexit\u00e9s internes d&#8217;un type d&#8217;art conceptuel socialis\u00e9 et socialisant peuvent en effet se retrouver dans les op\u00e9rations de Google, Twitter, Facebook et Instagram et toute autre sorte de messagerie psycho-graphique pilot\u00e9e par des ensembles de donn\u00e9es. Les fronti\u00e8res sont tomb\u00e9es et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 red\u00e9finies \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque de la d\u00e9pression nerveuse du modernisme, l\u2019\u00e9poque de la naissance de l\u2019art conceptuel. Mais c\u2019est aussi lors de cette chute et de cette red\u00e9finition des fronti\u00e8res que le capitalisme a mis en place une machine qui absorbe jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa propre n\u00e9gativit\u00e9 \u2013 qui absorbe m\u00eame l\u2019art conceptuel.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon, Google, You Tube ainsi que les autres m\u00e9dias sociaux sont d&#8217;immenses machines dans la machine &#8211; attrayantes et s\u00e9duisantes, \u00e9motives et organisatrices. Ils nous plongent dans des supercheries narcissiques et des opportunit\u00e9s fabuleuses.
