Sous une nature morte du peintre flamand <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Frans Snyders<\/span><\/span>, c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour ses \u00e9tals foisonnants de gibier et de poissons, une dizaine de pigeons semblent avoir \u00e9lu domicile. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"784\">L\u2019illusion est parfaite : les volatiles paraissent salir sans vergogne ce perchoir d\u2019exception. Mais en s\u2019approchant, le regard bascule : ces oiseaux sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des colombes en verre de Murano, d\u00e9licatement fa\u00e7onn\u00e9es puis recouvertes d\u2019encre Bic d\u2019un bleu profond. Les coulures fig\u00e9es, elles aussi en verre, imitent avec une pr\u00e9cision troublante les traces laiss\u00e9es par les oiseaux, d\u00e9tournant les codes de la nature morte classique avec un humour corrosif.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"1596\">Cette \u0153uvre, au titre volontairement provocateur, <em>Colombes qui chient et rats qui volent<\/em> (2008), s\u2019inscrit dans le travail de <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Jan Fabre<\/span><\/span>, figure majeure de la sc\u00e8ne artistique europ\u00e9enne. Son profil ? A la fois plasticien, chor\u00e9graphe et homme de th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Invit\u00e9 en 2008 \u00e0 dialoguer avec les collections du Louvre, l\u2019artiste belge d\u00e9ploie une trentaine d\u2019interventions en \u00e9cho aux ma\u00eetres du XVIIe si\u00e8cle. Chez lui, la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence n\u2019est jamais r\u00e9v\u00e9rencieuse mais toujours vivante. Dans son atelier d\u2019Anvers, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Bosch<\/span><\/span>, v<span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">an Eyck<\/span><\/span> ou <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rubens<\/span><\/span> cohabitent sous forme de reproductions. De quoi nourrir un imaginaire o\u00f9 le grotesque, le sacr\u00e9 et le trivial se m\u00ealent sans hi\u00e9rarchie.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"2275\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Le projet est port\u00e9 par la commissaire <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Marie-Laure Bernadac. Le<\/span><\/span> principe est simple : faire dialoguer un artiste vivant avec les chefs-d\u2019\u0153uvre du pass\u00e9. Mais ici, le dispositif d\u00e9passe la juxtaposition pour atteindre une v\u00e9ritable tension esth\u00e9tique. Les \u0153uvres de Jan Fabre introduisent un trouble, une friction, parfois un malaise, qui r\u00e9active le regard sur les tableaux anciens. En injectant du contemporain dans l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art, il rappelle que ces peintures, aujourd\u2019hui mus\u00e9ifi\u00e9es, furent elles aussi des gestes audacieux.
