C&#8217;est l&#8217;exp\u00e9rience vertigineuse qu&#8217;a v\u00e9cue le public irlandais lors du Festival of World Culture. L&#8217;artiste allemand Edgar M\u00fcller a m\u00e9tamorphos\u00e9 une art\u00e8re de Dun Laoghaire en une \u0153uvre d&#8217;art tridimensionnelle saisissante de r\u00e9alisme. Ce projet titanesque a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du soutien majeur du Goethe Institute, permettant la concr\u00e9tisation d&#8217;une prouesse technique et visuelle hors norme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"2\">Une prouesse technique entre h\u00e9ritage classique et modernit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Sur le plan de la m\u00e9thode, l&#8217;anamorphose n&#8217;est pas une nouveaut\u00e9 puisque les ma\u00eetres de la Renaissance ma\u00eetrisaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 parfaitement ces lois de la perspective. Cependant, Edgar M\u00fcller transpose cet h\u00e9ritage classique dans l&#8217;\u00e8re moderne en sortant l&#8217;art des mus\u00e9es pour l&#8217;offrir directement aux passants. L&#8217;une des forces majeures de cette performance r\u00e9side \u00e9galement dans sa documentation. L&#8217;int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 du processus cr\u00e9atif a \u00e9t\u00e9 film\u00e9e en acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9, permettant \u00e0 cette \u0153uvre \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re de conqu\u00e9rir le monde num\u00e9rique et de devenir virale bien au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res irlandaises.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\">Un ma\u00eetre de l&#8217;illusion parmi les g\u00e9ants du street art<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Dans le paysage contemporain du street art, Edgar M\u00fcller occupe une place singuli\u00e8re aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des plus grands ma\u00eetres de l&#8217;illusionnisme urbain. Alors que des artistes comme Banksy ou JR utilisent les murs pour transmettre des messages politiques et sociaux, M\u00fcller s&#8217;inscrit plut\u00f4t dans la lign\u00e9e d&#8217;un Kurt Wenner ou d&#8217;un Julian Beever. Ces pionniers de la peinture 3D sur chauss\u00e9e partagent un objectif commun qui est de briser la monotonie des infrastructures citadines par le biais du fantastique.
