J&#8217;ai eu l&#8217;occasion de rencontrer Cyprien lundi 18 octobre \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00f4tel M\u00e9ridien \u00e0 Paris o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait invit\u00e9 par le critique J\u00e9r\u00f4me Sans dans le cadre des rendez-vous artistiques organis\u00e9s par la cha\u00eene hoteli\u00e8re de luxe. Il confiait volontiers que Robert Smithson ou Gordon Matta-Clark \u00e9taient en quelque sorte ses ma\u00eetres.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"media-161249\" style=\"border-width: 0; float: right; margin: 0.2em 0 1.4em 0.7em;\" src=\"https:\/\/great-artmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/00\/01\/433744719.jpg\" alt=\"cyprien-gaillard_meridien.jpg\" \/>Cyprien Gaillard vient de se voir honorer par le prestigieux Prix Marcel Duchamp \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion de la FIAC. Ce prix r\u00e9compense le talent d&#8217;un jeune artiste fran\u00e7ais promis \u00e0 une carri\u00e8re internationale. Avec cette vid\u00e9o montrant l&#8217;excavation d&#8217;un bunker datant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, enfoui sous une large colline dominant la plage de Scheveningen aux Pays-Bas, c&#8217;est l&#8217;ensemble de son travail dans l\u2019espace public qui est ainsi r\u00e9compens\u00e9.
