Son \u0153uvre documente la perte des id\u00e9aux architecturaux du XXe si\u00e8cle, transformant le b\u00e9ton d\u00e9grad\u00e9 en une po\u00e9sie visuelle contemporaine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"6\">L&#8217;h\u00e9ritier du Land Art et des utopies perdues<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Cyprien Gaillard s&#8217;impose comme le digne h\u00e9ritier du Land Art. \u00c0 seulement 30 ans, l&#8217;artiste fran\u00e7ais bouscule le monde de l&#8217;art contemporain. Son angle d&#8217;attaque reste l&#8217;architecture. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, il filme la fin des illusions architecturales. Le plasticien manie la vid\u00e9o avec une pr\u00e9cision chirurgicale. Il met en sc\u00e8ne la d\u00e9rive des grands ensembles. Les habitats sociaux en d\u00e9liquescence deviennent ses d\u00e9cors principaux. Il s&#8217;int\u00e9resse aussi aux monuments d\u00e9saffect\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Sa force r\u00e9side dans sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 capter le sublime dans la ruine. Il filme notamment l&#8217;excavation d&#8217;un bunker de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ce vestige \u00e9tait enfoui sous une colline \u00e0 Scheveningen, aux Pays-Bas. Sa cam\u00e9ra livre une ode sinistre aux utopies perdues.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"11\">De Robert Smithson \u00e0 Gordon Matta-Clark : les influences de l&#8217;artiste<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Lors d&#8217;une rencontre exclusive \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00f4tel M\u00e9ridien \u00e0 Paris, l&#8217;artiste s&#8217;est confi\u00e9 sur ses inspirations. Ce rendez-vous artistique \u00e9tait orchestr\u00e9 par le critique J\u00e9r\u00f4me Sans. Il intervient sur le paysage et questionne la m\u00e9moire des b\u00e2timents.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"17\">Le Prix Marcel Duchamp couronne un travail sur l&#8217;espace public<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\">Le talent de Cyprien Gaillard re\u00e7oit aujourd&#8217;hui une cons\u00e9cration majeure. L&#8217;artiste vient de remporter le prestigieux Prix Marcel Duchamp \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion de la FIAC. Ce prix r\u00e9compense un jeune artiste fran\u00e7ais au potentiel international. Avec sa vid\u00e9o sur le bunker de Scheveningen, Gaillard marque les esprits.
