Cette \u0153uvre expose 30 V\u00e9libs enchev\u00eatr\u00e9s, symbolisant une \u00e9meute urbaine. \u00c0 la fronti\u00e8re entre sculpture, happening politique et design de rue, cette cr\u00e9ation interroge notre rapport au mobilier urbain et \u00e0 la r\u00e9volte collective.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"3\">L&#8217;impact visuel : le V\u00e9lib d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 en objet d&#8217;art<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Le jeune prodige new-yorkais a investi la vitrine du concept store Colette, rue Saint-Honor\u00e9. Il y propose une installation aussi directe que po\u00e9tique : 30 V\u00e9libs enchev\u00eatr\u00e9s. Les v\u00e9los semblent catapult\u00e9s dans une sc\u00e8ne d\u2019\u00e9meute urbaine. L\u2019\u0153uvre, intitul\u00e9e <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"82\">En gr\u00e8ve<\/i>, brouille les lignes. Elle m\u00e9lange la sculpture contemporaine, le happening politique et le design de rue. C\u2019est une cr\u00e9ation totalement \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re. Apr\u00e8s l&#8217;exposition, ces v\u00e9los reprendront leur service habituel sur les pistes cyclables parisiennes.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">L&#8217;esth\u00e9tique de la r\u00e9volte : explorer le chaos urbain<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Colen ne choisit pas ses mat\u00e9riaux au hasard. Depuis ses d\u00e9buts, il explore les formes de la r\u00e9volte et de l\u2019abandon. L&#8217;artiste utilise des mati\u00e8res textur\u00e9es et insolites. On l\u2019a vu peindre avec des chewing-gums m\u00e2ch\u00e9s. Il a aussi dress\u00e9 des murs de graffitis copi\u00e9s de ses amis disparus. Parfois, il fait voler des plumes et des fleurs dans des installations spectaculaires. <i data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">En gr\u00e8ve<\/i> poursuit ce travail sur l&#8217;\u00e9nergie collective. L&#8217;\u0153uvre joue sur la tension et la suspension. Elle s&#8217;int\u00e8gre parfaitement dans une ville o\u00f9 la gr\u00e8ve est un sport national et un cri social.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"13\">De la RISD \u00e0 Gagosian : le parcours d&#8217;un trublion du design<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">L&#8217;artiste poss\u00e8de une solide formation technique. Form\u00e9 \u00e0 la prestigieuse Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Colen s\u2019est impos\u00e9 \u00e0 New York au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000. Il partage alors son atelier avec Dash Snow, figure maudite de l\u2019art underground. Ensemble, ils forment un duo embl\u00e9matique de la sc\u00e8ne post-punk arty du Lower East Side. Tr\u00e8s vite, son esth\u00e9tique brute et narrative s\u00e9duit le march\u00e9. Il entre dans le giron de Larry Gagosian, galeriste star au flair redoutable. Gagosian pousse Colen sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale :Ce soutien offre \u00e0 l\u2019artiste un statut \u00e0 part. Il devient un h\u00e9ritier du pop art et un trublion du march\u00e9. Il dialogue avec l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art tout en collant \u00e0 l\u2019actualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"20\">Un ballet m\u00e9canique chez Colette : l&#8217;urgence en vitrine<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21\">Avec <i data-path-to-node=\"21\" data-index-in-node=\"5\">En gr\u00e8ve<\/i>, Dan Colen signe \u00e0 Paris une \u0153uvre coup de poing. L&#8217;installation s&#8217;apparente \u00e0 une critique urbaine et \u00e0 un ballet m\u00e9canique. Le choix du lieu est strat\u00e9gique. L&#8217;\u0153uvre s&#8217;expose chez Colette, un espace iconique du design et de la mode. Ce temple des tendances offre une sc\u00e8ne id\u00e9ale pour exprimer l\u2019urgence, l\u2019\u00e9puisement et l\u2019\u00e9lan collectif.
