L&#8217;artiste s&#8217;identifiait massivement \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00e9ro\u00efne de Balzac, qu&#8217;elle qualifiait de \u00ab prototype de la femme qui ne s&#8217;est pas r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00bb. \u00c0 la fin de sa vie, Louise Bourgeois a rendu hommage \u00e0 Eug\u00e9nie Grandet. Elle voit voyant dans ce destin bris\u00e9 le miroir th\u00e9rapeutique de sa propre existence.<\/p>\n<h3>La figure du p\u00e8re : le traumatisme en partage<\/h3>\n<p>Pour Louise Bourgeois, la lecture d&#8217;Eug\u00e9nie Grandet r\u00e9sonne comme un \u00e9cho douloureux. \u00ab Cela aurait pu \u00eatre le roman de ma vie \u00bb, confiait-elle. L&#8217;artiste \u00e9tait fascin\u00e9e par ce destin \u00e9cras\u00e9 par un p\u00e8re avare et faux. Cette figure paternelle d\u00e9plorable rappelle \u00e9trangement celle de son propre g\u00e9niteur. Pour Bourgeois, Eug\u00e9nie incarne la femme dans l&#8217;impossibilit\u00e9 de s&#8217;\u00e9panouir. C&#8217;est l&#8217;histoire d&#8217;une femme qui n&#8217;a jamais eu l&#8217;occasion d&#8217;exister pleinement. En choisissant le fil et l&#8217;aiguille, Louise Bourgeois ne fait pas un choix anodin. Elle utilise la broderie, technique historiquement associ\u00e9e aux femmes, pour r\u00e9affirmer son combat f\u00e9ministe.\u00a0Honorer sa propre m\u00e8re. En effet, sa m\u00e8re \u00e9tait tisserande. Les fleurs en tissu et les boutons nacr\u00e9s rappellent cet h\u00e9ritage.<\/p>\n<h3>Un art de l&#8217;intime : chaque composition abstraite devient une confidence<\/h3>\n<p>Ces \u0153uvres d&#8217;une grande sensibilit\u00e9 ont trouv\u00e9 leur \u00e9crin id\u00e9al. Louise Bourgeois les destinait initialement \u00e0 la Maison de Balzac. Le mus\u00e9e parisien pr\u00e9sente cette collection exceptionnelle pour une dur\u00e9e limit\u00e9e. Le cadre bucolique de l&#8217;ancien village de Passy s&#8217;accorde parfaitement avec cet art d\u00e9licat.
