L\u2019artiste britannique Anish Kapoor, d\u2019origine indienne, fait ainsi r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la monstruosit\u00e9, bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi au Trait\u00e9 politique de Thomas Hobbes (1651) dans lequel le philosophe britannique compare le corps humain \u00e0 une machine. Elle n\u2019est pas sans rappeler non plus les sculptures en bronze du Britannique Henri Moore (1898-1986). A la diff\u00e9rence majeure que l\u2019\u0153uvre de Kapoor, compos\u00e9e de vide, se g\u00e9n\u00e8re elle-m\u00eame.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la matrice, le rouge domine, vibrant, flamboyant, intranquille\u2026 L\u2019\u00e9merveillement nait d\u2019un rayon de soleil qui, parfois, voit l\u2019immense verri\u00e8re se refl\u00e9ter sur ses flancs. La lumi\u00e8re interagit. La peau en polyester irradie. Assemblage et tension. Utilis\u00e9e pour sa couleur et sa translucidit\u00e9, la b\u00e2che de 22 000 m2 qui compose la structure nous renvoie \u00e0 nos interrogations. Comment le lieu cr\u00e9e-t-il la forme ?
