En collaboration avec le nez Patrice Dana (Studio des Parfums), il lance &#8220;White Cube&#8221;. Ce parfum capture l&#8217;odeur universelle des vernissages d&#8217;art. Une exp\u00e9rience conceptuelle o\u00f9 le design ne se regarde plus, mais se respire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"3\">White Cube : quand le design olfactif r\u00e9invente la peinture fra\u00eeche<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Le pitch est audacieux. <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"24\">&#8220;Une pointe de mandarine verte, et l&#8217;odeur de champignon en moins&#8230;&#8221;<\/i> C&#8217;est ainsi que Maurice Benayoun d\u00e9finit sa cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Pour le designer et l&#8217;amateur d&#8217;art, le &#8220;White Cube&#8221; d\u00e9signe cet espace d&#8217;exposition minimaliste, neutre et immacul\u00e9. Maurice Benayoun a voulu en concevoir l&#8217;identit\u00e9 olfactive. Le d\u00e9fi ? Recr\u00e9er l&#8217;odeur de la peinture acrylique. <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"219\">&#8220;La peinture fra\u00eeche, \u00e7a sent le champignon !&#8221;<\/i> s&#8217;amuse le pionnier de l&#8217;art virtuel.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Le r\u00e9sultat est un parfum d&#8217;artiste intense, ultra-arty et r\u00e9solument snob. Ce sillage unique mat\u00e9rialise graphiquement notre rapport au monde physique \u00e0 travers un design invisible : celui des odeurs.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">De la 3D aux projets &#8220;Dump&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Le design chez Benayoun d\u00e9passe largement le flacon. L&#8217;artiste expose en 2011 ses \u0153uvres fondatrices \u00e0 la M\u00e9diath\u00e8que George Sand d&#8217;Enghien-les-Bains.<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">La r\u00e9volution 3D :<\/b>\u00a0&#8220;Quarxs&#8221; (1990-1993), co-r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec Fran\u00e7ois Schuiten et Beno\u00eet Peeters. Il s&#8217;agit de la toute premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie mondiale en images de synth\u00e8se 3D haute d\u00e9finition. L&#8217;exposition d\u00e9voile les dessins et objets pr\u00e9paratoires. Un grand moment de design global.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Le design de l&#8217;\u00e9chec et du concept :<\/b> En parall\u00e8le, l&#8217;artiste pr\u00e9sente <i data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"70\">The Dump<\/i> (La D\u00e9charge). Ce projet prend la forme d&#8217;un blog-r\u00e9pertoire. C&#8217;est un espace de stockage pour ses esquisses, ses concepts d\u00e9lirants ou ses projets irr\u00e9alisables.
