Ces clich\u00e9s se veulent un hommage appuy\u00e9\u00a0 aux grands ma\u00eetres espagnols du XVI et XVIIe si\u00e8cles, dont Erwin Olaf reproduit l&#8217;effet de la finesse du trait et la richesse des d\u00e9tails dans des sc\u00e8nes r\u00e9alistes et intimes. Le tomb\u00e9 d&#8217;un tissu, le clair-obscur d&#8217;un d\u00e9cor, la force d&#8217;un poignet, la d\u00e9licatesse d&#8217;un visage&#8230; Tout rappelle l&#8217;art des Ma\u00eetres&#8230; \u00e0 quelques d\u00e9tails pr\u00e8s. Erwin Olaf a diss\u00e9min\u00e9 dans ses images des petits clins d&#8217;oeil \u00e0 notre \u00e9poque contemporaine, comme pour mieux souligner la modernit\u00e9 de ces chefs d&#8217;oeuvre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marie-Anne d&#8217;Autriche se trouve ainsi affubl\u00e9e d&#8217;\u00e9couteurs iPod, le Bouffon de Velasquez porte des baskets Adidas&#8230; Quant au mur du &#8220;Souper d&#8217;Emma\u00fcs,&#8221; du Caravage, il est d\u00e9cor\u00e9 d&#8217;une mosa\u00efque de Juan Mir\u00f3 ! Un hommage ironique au peintre Caravage, connu pour son esprit provocateur jusqu&#8217;aux moindres d\u00e9tails. Comme lui, Erwin Olaf, 50 ans, choisit ses mod\u00e8les parmi les &#8220;vrais gens&#8221;, les nains, les vieillards, les handicap\u00e9s&#8230; Cet ancien photographe de mode n&#8217;a pas fini de d\u00e9tourner les codes \u00e9tablis.
