Erwin Olaf reproduit avec une fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 troublante la finesse du trait et la richesse des d\u00e9tails propres \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque artistique r\u00e9volue. Le spectateur se retrouve imm\u00e9diatement captiv\u00e9 par des sc\u00e8nes r\u00e9alistes et intimes. Le tomb\u00e9 lourd d&#8217;un tissu pr\u00e9cieux, le clair-obscur dramatique d&#8217;un d\u00e9cor et la d\u00e9licatesse d&#8217;un visage rappellent instantan\u00e9ment l&#8217;art pictural classique. Plus loin, le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Bouffon de V\u00e9lasquez arbore fi\u00e8rement des baskets Adidas aux pieds.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"7\">La provocation comme passerelle temporelle<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Cette ironie visuelle atteint son paroxysme avec le traitement du &#8220;Souper d\u2019Emma\u00fcs&#8221;. Le mur de cette sc\u00e8ne inspir\u00e9e du Caravage est ici d\u00e9cor\u00e9 d&#8217;une mosa\u00efque color\u00e9e de Joan Mir\u00f3. Ce choix constitue un hommage direct au peintre italien, connu pour son esprit provocateur et son r\u00e9alisme cru. Erwin Olaf partage cette m\u00eame volont\u00e9 de bousculer les codes \u00e9tablis de la beaut\u00e9. \u00c0 50 ans, l&#8217;artiste choisit ses mod\u00e8les parmi les vrais gens, incluant des nains, des vieillards ou des personnes handicap\u00e9es.
