Comment se fait le choix des \u0153uvres ? Quels sont les jeunes artistes flair\u00e9s par les experts de la commission ? Enqu\u00eate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>9h20 :<\/b> les hommes en orange terminent de nettoyer les stands. Tout doit \u00eatre impeccable pour l\u2019ouverture aux VIP d\u00e8s midi. Sous la coupole du Grand Palais, les derniers coups d\u2019aspirateurs r\u00e9sonnent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>9h35 :<\/b> arriv\u00e9e de Bernard Arnault (vid\u00e9o). Entour\u00e9 d&#8217;agents de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<b>,<\/b> le PDG de LVMH fait partie des premiers \u00e0 visiter la FIAC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>10h :<\/b> pause caf\u00e9 avec Richard Lagrange. Le directeur du fonds m\u2019explique : \u00ab Nous n\u2019avons pas une collection, nous avons un fonds, qui plus est, d\u2019envergure internationale \u00bb. Le CNAP soutient les jeunes artistes. \u00ab Nous les achetons avant qu\u2019ils ne soient plus abordables. Nous avions ainsi acquis des \u0153uvres des 10 laur\u00e9ats du Prix Marcel Duchamp une d\u00e9cennie avant qu\u2019ils n\u2019obtiennent cette reconnaissance. \u00bb Pour commencer, je choisis de suivre une artiste membre de cette commission depuis 2 ans, Nathalie Elemento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>10h15 :<\/b> Pour Nathalie Elemento, \u00ab la difficult\u00e9 est de ne pas choisir pour soi \u00bb. Eviter l\u2019anecdotique. Ne pas se laisser influencer par les modes. \u00ab J\u2019aime la confrontation avec les autres membres de la commission, en particulier l\u2019artiste Marc Desgrandchamps. Nos go\u00fbts sont tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents. Il d\u00e9fend ses choix toujours pour de bonnes raisons. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>10h30 :<\/b> Sur le stand de la galerie Jean Fournier, Nathalie Elemento se permet de changer la fa\u00e7on dont l\u2019une de ses \u0153uvres est expos\u00e9e (voir la vid\u00e9o). Le critique d\u2019art Guy Tortosa lui donne un coup de main.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"media-109130\" class=\"\" style=\"border-width: 0; float: left; margin: 0.2em 1.4em 0.7em 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/great-artmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/01\/02\/1525800799.jpg\" alt=\"rachel-whiteread.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"245\" name=\"media-109130\" \/>11h :<\/b> Le coup de c\u0153ur de Nathalie Elemento &#8211; mais \u00e0 titre personnel &#8211; va \u00e0 une pi\u00e8ce au sol du Minimaliste am\u00e9ricain Carl Andr\u00e9 (n\u00e9 en 1935). Sans doute relativement co\u00fbteuse. Elle n\u2019en demande pas le prix. Nathalie Elemento dont le travail consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser du mobilier-sculpture aux formes imbriqu\u00e9es appr\u00e9cie notamment le travail de la Britannique Rachel Whiteread qui transforme des objets quotidiens en espaces architecturaux.<\/p>\n<p><b>11h15 :<\/b> Le collectionneur, Jean Mairet, membre de la commission, vient la f\u00e9liciter pour ce choix qu\u2019il partage \u00e9galement. Devant une biblioth\u00e8que en trompe l\u2019oeil de Rachel Whiteread, 46 ans, ce propri\u00e9taire d\u2019une centaine d\u2019\u0153uvres d\u2019art contemporain pose la question du prix\u2026 A elle seule, la sculpture en polyester explose le budget de l\u2019Etat. Plus loin, nous croisons un petit groupe de collectionneurs, eux aussi, entr\u00e9s sur invitation sp\u00e9ciale. Ils interpellent Jean Mairet pour lui demander de les introduire aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019artiste autrichien Clemens Krauss (n\u00e9 en 1978). Une valeur montante !<\/p>\n<p><b>11h30 :<\/b> Nous croisons Mahki Xenakis, la fille du musicien grec Yannis Xenakis. Son regret, qu\u2019elle confie \u00e0 Jean Mairet : l\u2019une de ses sculptures n\u2019a pas pu \u00eatre expos\u00e9e au Lieu unique, \u00e0 Paris. Trop grande ! L\u2019artiste partie, Jean Mairet en profite pour me prof\u00e9rer quelques conseils de lecture, en particulier \u00ab L\u2019aveugle guidant l\u2019aveugle \u00bb, \u00e9crit par Mahki Xenakis sur Louise Bourgeois.<\/p>\n<p><b>12h :<\/b> Chez Daniel Templon, nous retrouvons Richard Lagrange et Anne-Marie Charbonneaux, pr\u00e9sidente du CNAP. Tous deux admirent une sculpture de l\u2019Am\u00e9ricain Larry Bell (n\u00e9 en 1939). Son prix : 54 000 \u20ac. Soit, 7% du budget\u2026<\/p>\n<p><b>12h30 :<\/b> pause d\u00e9jeuner, je m\u2019\u00e9clipse. La commission continue son travail d\u2019investigation.
