Entre combat pictural et confidences intimes, le r\u00e9cit explore la tension entre l&#8217;\u00e9clat de la couleur et les zones d&#8217;ombre de la nature humaine.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2317 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/great-artmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/souffle-fromanger.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"274\" height=\"159\" \/>Un portrait intime et lucide de l&#8217;artiste<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">G\u00e9rard Fromanger se livre ici avec une confiance rare. \u00c0 80 ans, l&#8217;artiste dialogue avec Laurent Greilsamer dans un style direct et enthousiaste. On y retrouve ses expressions favorites, comme son c\u00e9l\u00e8bre &#8220;sympa comme tout&#8221;. Le peintre t\u00e9moigne d&#8217;une \u00e9poque charni\u00e8re pour l&#8217;art contemporain. Il d\u00e9crit le basculement de la sc\u00e8ne artistique vers les \u00c9tats-Unis. Le livre expose aussi les relations parfois houleuses entre les acteurs du march\u00e9 de l&#8217;art. L&#8217;ouvrage revient sur son engagement lors de Mai 68 et la fondation de l&#8217;Atelier populaire des Beaux-Arts. Un passage marquant relate l&#8217;installation de ses &#8220;Souffles rouges&#8221;. Ces demi-sph\u00e8res color\u00e9es faisaient de lui un pr\u00e9curseur du <i data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"289\">street-art<\/i>. L&#8217;artiste partage des anecdotes savoureuses, notamment son arrestation avec le cin\u00e9aste Jean-Luc Godard. Ces r\u00e9cits illustrent son caract\u00e8re audacieux et non conformiste. Pour lui, &#8220;une fausse note n&#8217;arr\u00eate jamais un concert&#8221;. Cette vision r\u00e9sume sa pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance face aux obstacles politiques ou sociaux.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"9\">Une le\u00e7on de courage pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Ce recueil ne se contente pas de parler de peinture. Il d\u00e9peint un homme g\u00e9n\u00e9reux et profond\u00e9ment lucide. Fromanger explore la dualit\u00e9 de son \u0153uvre, coinc\u00e9e entre le gris du dessin et la lumi\u00e8re de la couleur. L&#8217;artiste nous tient en haleine jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la derni\u00e8re page. Ce t\u00e9moignage constitue une v\u00e9ritable le\u00e7on de courage et d&#8217;audace.
