La Galerie Municipale d&#8217;Arcueil pr\u00e9sente ce tableau du 25 septembre au 24 octobre 2020. L&#8217;artiste utilise une horloge pour faire le tour des choses. Un violet fluent domine la composition et \u00e9chappe au registre religieux. Cette couleur tend vers un vieux rose \u00e0 la fois tendre et chanceux. Le relief se tient debout \u00e0 la verticale dans l&#8217;espace. Cette pi\u00e8ce d&#8217;harmonie assemble des morceaux de contreplaqu\u00e9 nourris de pigments et de marc de caf\u00e9. Les formes poss\u00e8dent des rondeurs pour noyer le contour des occurrences.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>La structure du temps et de la m\u00e9moire<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Pour l&#8217;artiste, le temps ne se confond pas avec la vitesse ou le vieillissement. Il s&#8217;agit plut\u00f4t d&#8217;une succession d&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nements qui remplissent l&#8217;histoire des hommes. Le cofondateur de la <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"188\">Figuration narrative<\/b> livre ici un r\u00e9cit lucide. Une force fatidique s&#8217;exprime \u00e0 travers des tensions aigu\u00ebs. On observe une similitude avec &#8220;L&#8217;Armoire rose&#8221;, \u0153uvre majeure de 1973. Ce coffre ancien laissait jaillir des objets jaunes sur un fond rose clair. Il contenait le secret du corps et les souvenirs dont on ne peut se d\u00e9faire. Herv\u00e9 T\u00e9l\u00e9maque explique que le marc de caf\u00e9 est une nuit. Il utilise cette poudre sombre pour impr\u00e9gner ses &#8220;objets maigres&#8221;. Cette technique appara\u00eet apr\u00e8s un s\u00e9jour \u00e0 Ha\u00efti, son pays natal. Son travail devient alors plus introspectif et explore les atmosph\u00e8res de son enfance. On y retrouve la magie des rues et la m\u00e9lodie m\u00e9tallique du tam-tam. Dans &#8220;\u00c0 fa\u00e7on, l\u2019heure&#8221;, le marc de caf\u00e9 f\u00e9conde le hasard.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">Une philosophie de l&#8217;instant et de la mutation<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">L&#8217;artiste rejoint la pens\u00e9e de Jank\u00e9l\u00e9vitch pour qui le temps est mutation. Il fa\u00e7onne un devenir intangible entre l&#8217;\u00eatre et le non-\u00eatre. Sa cr\u00e9ation suit une polyrythmie faite de strates \u00e9motionnelles et de moments inspir\u00e9s. Il capte ainsi les saillies d&#8217;une \u00e9ternit\u00e9 \u00e0 travers des signes \u00e9vasifs.
