Une dizaine de dons et d’acquisitions de crypto art, de Net art ou encore d\u2019art g\u00e9n\u00e9ratif viennent enrichir les collections du Centre Pompidou. Une op\u00e9ration de mise \u00e0 jour qui donne lieu \u00e0 une exposition en avril 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ces \u0153uvres portent en elles une nouvelle mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 <\/em>\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la conservatrice Marcella Lista. Parmi les acquisitions, Hand-Hacked Bouquet 1<\/em>, de l’artiste am\u00e9ricaine Jill Magid. Il s’agit de la premi\u00e8re \u0153uvre de la s\u00e9rie \u00ab Out-Game Flowers \u00bb. Son champ d’investigation ? L\u2019id\u00e9e de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 et sur l\u2019entrelacement de valeurs \u00e9motives, symboliques et financi\u00e8res sur le web.<\/p>\n

En 1974-1975, le Mus\u00e9e national d\u2019art moderne a fait l\u2019acquisition d\u2019\u0153uvres et d\u2019installations majeures, de Dan Graham<\/a>\u00a0ou\u00a0Bruce Naumann<\/a>. Des installations vid\u00e9os utilisant le temps r\u00e9el, et c\u2019\u00e9tait la toute premi\u00e8re institution \u00e0 le faire. Citons \u00e9galement la commande de l\u2019installation vid\u00e9o et informatique Zapping Zone\u00a0<\/em>\u00e0 Chris Marker<\/a>\u00a0en 1989, le\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Tunnel sous l\u2019Atlantique\u00a0\u00bb de Maurice Benayoun<\/a> en 1995.<\/p>\n

Pour ce qui est de la conservation, les \u0153uvres nouveaux m\u00e9dias sont toutes soumises au risque d\u2019une obsolescence technologique. C\u2019est vrai pour les vid\u00e9os acquises dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, comme pour les sites Internet d\u2019artistes qu\u2019on a achet\u00e9s depuis le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000. Un d\u00e9fi : assurer le transfert des \u0153uvres d\u2019une technologie en voie de disparition vers une nouvelle.
