Celle qui fait d\u00e9couvrir cet artiste franco-suisse en 2019 au Mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. C\u2019est un r\u00e9cit de bruissement de plumes blanches, toutes identiques, qui habillent l\u2019homme. Et lui, l\u2019homme, il se r\u00e9jouit et court avec sa cape, son casque int\u00e9gral de plumes\u2026 et de li\u00e8ge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Parce que ce dont se v\u00eat l\u2019artiste performeur Benjamin Begey, alias Billgraben, c\u2019est de volants de badminton usag\u00e9s. Ceux qui sont frapp\u00e9s de smatches \u00e0 400 km heure par les badistes les plus extraordinaires du globe. Et qui, en quelques secondes ne volent plus assez rapidement pour une raquette de comp\u00e9tition. Lui, Billgraben, il recueille ses plumes d\u00e9laiss\u00e9es. Il les recompose et cr\u00e9e de nouvelles esp\u00e8ces vivantes : v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, animales et humaines, pour en faire des costumes, mandala et bouquets oniriques. Un hommage \u00e0 la douceur blanche.<\/p>\n<p>Benjamin Begey, n\u00e9 en 1979, vit et travaille \u00e0 Bordeaux. Il multiplie les jeux avec le volant, ce petit objet de 5 grammes qui procure des tonnes d\u2019\u00e9motions. Sc\u00e9nographe, d\u00e9corateur, expert enFeng Shui, il expose depuis 2012 sans discontinuer. Installations, vid\u00e9o, danse contemporaine, performances, championnats internationaux de badminton. Benjamin Begey donne vie aux cordes de volants de petites plumes raides qu\u2019il fait glisser et onduler<br \/>\ndevant nos yeux au ras du sol.<\/p>\n<p>Plus surprenant encore, il d\u00e9core les pelouses de ces serpents interminables. Il se photographie. Son corps nu. Celui de son acolyte. Les arbres sont orn\u00e9s de ces plantes parasites. Les murs et les sols sont recouverts de ces lianes blanches.
