Les d\u00e9sordres du monde<\/h3>\n

L’exposition r\u00e9unit plus de 300 pi\u00e8ces, dont des sculptures, peintures, enluminures et objets du quotidien, illustrant l’\u00e9volution de la figure du fou du XIII\u1d49 au XIX\u1d49 si\u00e8cle. Elles refl\u00e8tent une vision satirique de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e9di\u00e9vale. L’exposition offre une r\u00e9flexion sur la mani\u00e8re dont l’artiste per\u00e7oit et interpr\u00e8te la folie, non seulement comme une pathologie, mais aussi comme un symbole des d\u00e9sordres du monde.<\/p>\n

Embarquement pour la Nef des fous<\/em> !<\/h3>\n

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bosch utilise la figure du fou pour d\u00e9noncer les vices humains. Ses personnages grotesques plongent le spectateur dans un univers o\u00f9 la folie devient miroir de la faiblesse humaine. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bosch peint “La Nef des fous” vers la fin du XVe si\u00e8cle, dans un contexte marqu\u00e9 par des tensions politiques et religieuses. L\u2019Europe est profond\u00e9ment chr\u00e9tienne, mais l\u2019\u00c9glise est critiqu\u00e9e pour sa corruption et son opulence. Ce climat pr\u00e9figure la R\u00e9forme protestante.<\/p>\n

Une folie collective<\/h3>\n

Bosch d\u00e9nonce les d\u00e9rives du clerg\u00e9. La Nef symbolise ainsi folie collective. L’\u0153uvre “La Nef des fous” de J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bosch fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 “La Nef des fous” (Das Narrenschiff), un ouvrage satirique de Sebastian Brant publi\u00e9 en 1494. Cet ouvrage est une critique des comportements humains, des vices et de la corruption de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l’\u00e9poque, y compris celle du clerg\u00e9. La peinture de Bosch reprend cette all\u00e9gorie du bateau rempli de fous, naviguant sans but, pour symboliser les d\u00e9rives morales et spirituelles de son temps, dans une perspective \u00e0 la fois critique et moralisatrice.<\/p>\n
