Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9 pour la 12e \u00e9dition du Paris Gallery Weekend. L’\u00e9v\u00e9nement rassemble 75 galeries participantes, plus de 150 artistes. Du 23 au 25 mai 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La philosophie du projet<\/h3>\n

Con\u00e7u par Alexia Gugg\u00e9mos, la fondatrice du Mus\u00e9e du sourire<\/a>, ce parcours sensible propose une s\u00e9lection de lieux et d\u2019artistes o\u00f9 le sourire se donne \u00e0 lire dans toutes ses nuances. En creux, il dessine une cartographie affective de la rive gauche, de la rue de Seine au carrefour de l\u2019Od\u00e9on. Cette d\u00e9ambulation, loin d\u2019un marathon d\u2019expositions, invite \u00e0 une forme de fl\u00e2nerie engag\u00e9e. Au-del\u00e0 des murs blancs des galeries, Un fil d\u2019Ariane nomm\u00e9 sourire<\/em> questionne : que reste-t-il du sourire dans une \u00e9poque satur\u00e9e d\u2019images ?<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mus\u00e9e du Luxembourg \u2013 Tous L\u00e9ger<\/a>
\nD\u00e8s l\u2019entr\u00e9e, La Danseuse bleue<\/em> (1930) de Fernand L\u00e9ger donne le ton. Sur son visage, un sourire discret, presque effac\u00e9, trace une ligne fragile entre modernit\u00e9 et m\u00e9lancolie. On d\u00e9couvreKarel Appel (Le Cycliste<\/em>), Niki de Saint Phalle et ses cr\u00e9atures bondissantes. Le mouvement, la couleur, l\u2019humour graphique \u2014 tout y pulse d\u2019une joie physique. Un rem\u00e8de \u00e0 la grisaille.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Rue F\u00e9rou – L’instant po\u00e9sie
\nLa po\u00e9sie s\u2019invite dans le parcours. Rue F\u00e9rou, entre le jardin du Luxembourg et Saint-Sulpice, les vers du Bateau ivre d\u2019Arthur Rimbaud s\u2019affichent sur un mur. Grav\u00e9s dans la pierre, ils r\u00e9sonnent autrement sous les pas du promeneur. Le po\u00e8me est une ivresse, une fuite, un appel.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Carrefour de l\u2019Od\u00e9on \u2013 Jeux de rue
\nIci, c\u2019est un jeu d\u2019observation. Une mosa\u00efque d\u2019Invader guette les passants au-dessus d’une porte : pixelisation du clin d\u2019\u0153il, d\u00e9tournement du quotidien. Plus loin, rue de l\u2019\u00c9chaud\u00e9, le visage souriant de John Hamon, l’\u00e9ternel candidat, nous rappelle que l\u2019art, parfois, est simplement l\u00e0 \u2014 persistant, malicieux, impr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Galerie Zidoun & Bossuyt<\/a> \u2013 Summer Wheat
\nPremi\u00e8re exposition fran\u00e7aise pour l’Am\u00e9ricaine Summer Wheat. Sa peinture, filtr\u00e9e \u00e0 travers une grille m\u00e9tallique, \u00e9voque le tissage, la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition des gestes. Figures puissantes, f\u00e9minines, pleines d\u2019humour et de vitalit\u00e9. Le sourire n\u2019y est jamais fig\u00e9 : il circule, il vibre, il r\u00e9siste.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u2022 Galerie Berthet-Aittouar\u00e8s<\/a> \u2013 Sculpture rituelle
\nUn kulap papou en calcaire blanc. L\u2019\u00e9motion change de registre. Le sourire de cette figure sacr\u00e9e de Nouvelle-Irlande, fig\u00e9 dans la pierre, semble \u00e0 la fois protecteur, mystique, intemporel. Un sourire qui traverse les \u00e2ges et les cultures, et qui invite \u00e0 la contemplation, au silence. La sculpture a appartenu \u00e0 Georges Goldfayn, assistant et ami d’Andr\u00e9 Breton.<\/p>\n

Invitation au sourire<\/h3>\n

Le sourire glisse entre les \u0153uvres, s\u2019imprime sur les murs, s\u2019insinue dans les regards. Il cr\u00e9e un lien invisible entre des gestes artistiques lointains et des \u00e9motions tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sentes.
