“\u00c9chapp\u00e9es” est une exposition imagin\u00e9e par l’artiste Al\u00ebxone Dizac pour la Fondation Desperados \u00e0 la Poste Rodier, dans le 9e arrondissement de Paris. Parmi la douzaine d’artistes, Duy Anh Nhan Duc n\u2019envahit pas un mur. Le Parloir des souhaits<\/em> (2021) se dresse comme un sanctuaire de lumi\u00e8re. Jusqu’au 30 novembre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un abri pour le souffle<\/h3>\n

Une structure hexagonale de verre et de bois, Le Parloir des souhaits<\/em> Duy Anh Nhan Duc semble sorti d\u2019un r\u00eave d\u2019enfance. \u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, des milliers d\u2019aigrettes de pissenlits, de chardons, de salsifis ou d\u2019artichauts reposent dans une lumi\u00e8re dor\u00e9e. En actionnant une manivelle, le visiteur d\u00e9clenche un souffle d\u2019air. Les graines s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8vent, tournoient, se dispersent. Ce ballet lent et fragile \u00e9voque les v\u0153ux qu\u2019on confiait au vent, en soufflant sur un pissenlit.<\/p>\n

Entre la cabane et la serre, cette \u0153uvre de 3,65 m de haut invite \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience intime, presque rituelle. Le son l\u00e9ger du vent, le fr\u00e9missement des graines, la lumi\u00e8re filtr\u00e9e par les anciennes fen\u00eatres cr\u00e9ent une atmosph\u00e8re de recueillement. Le Parloir des souhaits<\/em> n\u2019impose rien : il propose une \u00e9coute. Il parle du souffle, du passage, de la m\u00e9moire des gestes simples.<\/p>\n

Souffler, c’est semer<\/h3>\n

N\u00e9 en 1983 dans le sud Vietnam, Duy Anh Nhan Duc se d\u00e9finit comme un \u00ab plasticien du v\u00e9g\u00e9tal \u00bb. Depuis plus de quinze ans, il cueille dans les interstices urbains ce que la ville laisse pousser : pissenlits, tr\u00e8fles, pavots, chardons. Ses herbiers deviennent sculptures, installations ou fresques. Chaque brin d\u2019herbe est un fragment de m\u00e9moire. Chaque aigrette une phrase de son vocabulaire intime. Sa pratique se situe entre soin et rituel. \u00ab Je dois travailler avec du vivant \u00bb, confie-t-il. Cueillir, observer, assembler. Des gestes patients qui, sous ses mains, redonnent au v\u00e9g\u00e9tal un langage et une dignit\u00e9. L\u2019artiste s\u2019attache \u00e0 ce que l\u2019on ne voit plus : la persistance du fragile.<\/p>\n

Une attention au d\u00e9tail<\/h3>\n

En 2021, le mus\u00e9e Guimet lui a offert une carte blanche pour une premi\u00e8re version du Parloir des souhaits<\/em>. Il a depuis collabor\u00e9 avec la maison Dior dans le cadre du projet Lady Art, m\u00ealant feuilles d\u2019or et graines de pissenlit. En 2024, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi pour concevoir une \u0153uvre p\u00e9renne \u00e0 la future gare du Grand Paris Express, \u00e0 La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis): un hommage au v\u00e9g\u00e9tal dans le tissu b\u00e9tonn\u00e9. Elle sera inaugur\u00e9e en 2026.<\/p>\n

\"\"La manivelle que le visiteur tourne \u00e9voque un geste d’une pri\u00e8re m\u00e9canique. Les aigrettes se mettent \u00e0 flotter, formant une nu\u00e9e de poussi\u00e8res dor\u00e9es. C\u2019est un moment de suspension, une m\u00e9ditation sur la fragilit\u00e9 du vivant et la permanence du souffle. Chaque mouvement d\u2019air devient m\u00e9taphore de la pens\u00e9e. Les id\u00e9es comme les graines, volatiles et f\u00e9condes. \u00ab Les herbes sauvages sont r\u00e9silientes, elles s\u2019adaptent, elles reviennent toujours \u00bb, dit-il.<\/p>\n

Dans “\u00c9chapp\u00e9es”, exposition collective d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019essence narrative de l\u2019art urbain, Le Parloir des souhaits<\/em> occupe une place \u00e0 part. Son \u0153uvre agit comme un contre-champ po\u00e9tique au bruit du monde. Ainsi, l\u2019\u00ab \u00e9chapp\u00e9e \u00bb que Duy Anh Nhan Duc propose est int\u00e9rieure. C\u2019est une invitation \u00e0 ralentir, \u00e0 regarder de pr\u00e8s, \u00e0 r\u00e9apprendre la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9. Dans une exposition qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la pluralit\u00e9 des voix de l\u2019art d’aujourd’hui, soutenue par la Fondation Desperados, son installation en devient la respiration : un battement d\u2019aile dans un paysage bruyant.<\/p>\n
