Les mutations fictives deviennent r\u00e9elles par le jeu des acteurs. Les costumes et les effets sp\u00e9ciaux. <em>Le R\u00e8gne animal<\/em> prend presque la forme d\u2019une fable. \u00c0 la mani\u00e8re dont Jean de La Fontaine conf\u00e8re des qualit\u00e9s humaines aux animaux pour critiquer la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de son \u00e9poque, Thomas Cailley donne aux humains des caract\u00e9ristiques animales pour d\u00e9noncer les dysfonctionnements de son temps. &#8220;C\u2019est tr\u00e8s important de les regarder dans les yeux&#8221;, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Thomas Cailley<\/p>\n<h3>L&#8217;apport du num\u00e9rique<\/h3>\n<p>Pour rendre les cr\u00e9atures hybrides cr\u00e9dibles, le film fait l&#8217;usage d&#8217;effets num\u00e9riques de VFX pour modifier l&#8217;image film\u00e9e. Les effets sp\u00e9ciaux sont importants pour donner des ailes \u00e0 Fix, un humain-oiseau. Ils ne priment pas sur le maquillage, les costumes et les proth\u00e8ses. Le r\u00e9alisme est renforc\u00e9 par les d\u00e9cors. En effet, ils sont tous r\u00e9els. Le film a \u00e9t\u00e9 tourn\u00e9 en Nouvelle-Aquitaine.<\/p>\n<h3>Une musique de film puissante<\/h3>\n<p>La bande originale est compos\u00e9e par l&#8217;Italien, Andrea Laszlo De Simone. Elle transcrit l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un retour \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat sauvage par des jeux de souffles, de silences, de bruits de la nature et de percussions. Les percussions et le souffle permettent d\u2019incarner l\u2019ambiance g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Cette omnipr\u00e9sence du motif du souffle, commun aux \u00eatres humains et aux animaux, est symbolique.
