Le prix artistique Opline Prize 2026 r\u00e9unit 18 artistes dont les pratiques dessinent un paysage particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur de la cr\u00e9ation contemporaine \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re de l\u2019intelligence artificielle. Le laur\u00e9at sera r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 le 6 juin, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de Nuit Blanche \u00e0 Paris, au terme d\u2019un mois de vote public en mai et de rencontres. Cette 18e \u00e9dition est plac\u00e9e sous le signe explicite de \u00ab l\u2019IA : g\u00e9n\u00e9rative-g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00bb. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00ab <\/strong>Les artistes ne se contentent plus d\u2019int\u00e9grer le num\u00e9rique, ils en explorent les structures profondes, les imaginaires et les effets sur nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s. <strong>\u00bb<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Les fronti\u00e8res traditionnelles entre les m\u00e9diums sont absorb\u00e9es dans des dispositifs hybrides, souvent immersifs, interactifs et \u00e9volutifs. Chez <a href=\"https:\/\/alizeearmet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aliz\u00e9e Armet<\/a>, les \u0153uvres prennent la forme d\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes sensibles o\u00f9 coexistent plantes, bact\u00e9ries, capteurs et intelligence artificielle. Ses installations bio-m\u00e9diatiques ne sont pas des objets, mais des milieux, o\u00f9 humains et non-humains interagissent dans des processus ouverts et instables.<\/p>\n<p>Cette logique syst\u00e9mique se retrouve chez plusieurs autres artistes nomin\u00e9s. <a href=\"https:\/\/veroniquebeland.art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">V\u00e9ronique B\u00e9land<\/a> con\u00e7oit des machines g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives capables de traduire des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes invisibles en r\u00e9cits po\u00e9tiques. Ses dispositifs transforment des ondes cosmiques, des donn\u00e9es physiologiques ou des signaux \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques en textes, en musique ou en images. <a href=\"https:\/\/frederik-de-wilde.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frederik De Wilde<\/a>, quant \u00e0 lui, d\u00e9veloppe des environnements o\u00f9 la blockchain et l\u2019intelligence artificielle deviennent des milieux vivants, des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes en co-\u00e9volution. Cette transformation de l\u2019\u0153uvre en syst\u00e8me est \u00e9galement au c\u0153ur du travail de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Primavera_De_Filippi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Primavera De Filippi<\/a>. Avec ses <em>Plantoids<\/em>, l&#8217;artiste et chercheuse imagine des sculptures autonomes capables de se reproduire gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la blockchain, en commanditant elles-m\u00eames de nouvelles versions d\u2019elles-m\u00eames. Ces formes hybrides interrogent les notions de propri\u00e9t\u00e9, d\u2019auteur et de gouvernance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re des technologies d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La question de l\u2019auteur est profond\u00e9ment re-configur\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e8re de l&#8217;IA. L\u2019artiste n\u2019est plus le seul producteur de formes. Il partage ce r\u00f4le avec des algorithmes, des bases de donn\u00e9es, des syst\u00e8mes automatis\u00e9s. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artinspace.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeanne Morel et Paul Marlier<\/a> illustrent ce d\u00e9placement en traduisant les ondes c\u00e9r\u00e9brales d\u2019une danseuse en apesanteur en sculptures num\u00e9riques g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives. Le corps devient une interface, un capteur, un g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur de formes. De m\u00eame, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sarahsilverblatt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sarah Silverblatt-Buser<\/a> place le corps au centre de ses exp\u00e9riences immersives, o\u00f9 la danse devient un langage interactif, une mani\u00e8re d\u2019habiter les environnements virtuels.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs artistes adoptent une posture critique. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.albertinemeunier.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Albertine Meunier<\/a> s\u2019attaque frontalement aux d\u00e9rives du num\u00e9rique contemporain, en particulier \u00e0 la pollution informationnelle. Ses \u0153uvres r\u00e9v\u00e8lent les m\u00e9canismes du capitalisme de surveillance, en transformant les donn\u00e9es personnelles en mat\u00e9riau artistique. Elle expose ainsi l\u2019intimit\u00e9 captur\u00e9e par les plateformes, tout en utilisant l\u2019humour et le d\u00e9tournement comme strat\u00e9gies de r\u00e9sistance.<\/p>\n<p>Quels sont les dangers des deepfakes ? <a href=\"https:\/\/tamikothiel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tamiko Thiel<\/a> aborde la question \u00e0 travers des installations participatives o\u00f9 les visiteurs voient leur propre visage manipul\u00e9 par des r\u00e9seaux neuronaux. L\u2019exp\u00e9rience est troublante, car elle confronte directement chacun \u00e0 la fragilit\u00e9 de son identit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re des images g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Olivier_Auber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olivier Auber<\/a>, pionnier des r\u00e9seaux num\u00e9riques, interroge depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies les structures invisibles qui organisent nos interactions en ligne. Ses travaux sur les \u00ab perspectives anoptiques \u00bb mettent en lumi\u00e8re les dimensions politiques des architectures num\u00e9riques, sugg\u00e9rant que le pouvoir r\u00e9side moins dans la surveillance que dans l\u2019invisibilit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 ces approches critiques, certains artistes explorent les potentialit\u00e9s cr\u00e9atives de l\u2019intelligence artificielle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alessandrobavari.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alessandro Bavari <\/a>m\u00eale photographie, peinture, animation et IA pour produire des univers visuels hybrides, o\u00f9 les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences classiques se transforment en visions futuristes. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aurecevettier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aur\u00e8ce Vettier<\/a>, nom d&#8217;un projet artistique fond\u00e9 par Paul Mouginot, d\u00e9veloppe une \u00ab sur-nature \u00bb g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par algorithme, o\u00f9 des formes organiques impossibles sont transpos\u00e9es en peintures, sculptures ou tapisseries. La question du vivant traverse en effet une grande partie de la s\u00e9lection. Chez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lefresnoy.net\/ecole\/etudiant\/606\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yue Cheng<\/a>, elle prend la forme d\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes sp\u00e9culatifs inspir\u00e9s de la crise \u00e9cologique. Son installation <em>Sph\u00e8re 3<\/em> imagine un refuge post-apocalyptique, o\u00f9 humains, champignons et machines coexistent dans un environnement artificiel. Les signaux biologiques y sont traduits en sons, cr\u00e9ant une forme de communication inter-esp\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p>La question de la perception appara\u00eet centrale. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathieuvalade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mathieu Valade<\/a> explore les illusions optiques et les effets de mise en ab\u00eeme, en int\u00e9grant des \u00e9crans dans ses sculptures. Ses installations jouent avec la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition, la r\u00e9flexion et la lumi\u00e8re pour cr\u00e9er des espaces instables, o\u00f9 le regard vacille entre r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et illusion. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mariemaillard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marie Maillard<\/a>, de son c\u00f4t\u00e9, infiltre les institutions avec des \u0153uvres en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e, invisibles \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153il nu et activ\u00e9es par le regard via un smartphone. Elle transforme ainsi les lieux en espaces fictionnels, o\u00f9 se superposent diff\u00e9rentes couches de r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La dimension immersive et perceptive est pr\u00e9sente dans le travail de <a href=\"https:\/\/juliestephenchheng.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Julie Stephen Chheng<\/a>, qui m\u00eale livre, illustration et dispositifs interactifs. Ses \u0153uvres invitent le spectateur \u00e0 entrer dans des r\u00e9cits ouverts, \u00e0 activer les images, \u00e0 explorer des univers inspir\u00e9s du conte et du monde animal. Ses \u0153uvres jouent avec les codes du cin\u00e9ma, de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle et de l\u2019animation pour cr\u00e9er des images instables, o\u00f9 les fronti\u00e8res entre r\u00e9el et fiction se brouillent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;L&#8217;\u00e9dition 2026 t\u00e9moigne d\u2019un passage vers une condition post-num\u00e9rique&#8221;, affirme Mich\u00e8le Robine, fondatrice de Opline Prize. Au-del\u00e0 de la comp\u00e9tition, c\u2019est cette diversit\u00e9 coh\u00e9rente qui fait la force de cette 18e \u00e9dition.
