Le Festival International de Danse SOUM c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les 140 ans de relations diplomatiques entre la France et la Cor\u00e9e. Du 16 au 18 avril 2026, le Regard du Cygne \u00e0 Paris a accueilli cette 8e \u00e9dition plac\u00e9e sous le signe du dialogue. Artistes cor\u00e9ens et fran\u00e7ais ont explor\u00e9 ensemble les liens entre tradition, silence et mouvement contemporain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Des costumes traditionnels sur des chor\u00e9graphies d’aujourd’hui<\/h3>\n

Les danseuses Minyoug Park et Hoejung Kim ont ouvert le festival avec deux performances m\u00ealant danse traditionnelle cor\u00e9enne et \u00e9criture contemporaine. V\u00eatues du hanbok<\/em>, elles ont interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 des mouvements issus du taepyunmoo<\/em> et du salpuri<\/em> sur des musiques ancestrales. Le public \u00e9tait invit\u00e9 \u00e0 les encourager, cr\u00e9ant une interaction rare dans la danse contemporaine. Sunyoung Kim et Jaehyun An ont prolong\u00e9 ce dialogue en int\u00e9grant des d\u00e9placements traditionnels \u00e0 leurs cr\u00e9ations actuelles.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9change franco-cor\u00e9en comme moteur de cr\u00e9ation<\/h3>\n

Passages I<\/em> et Passages II<\/em> sont n\u00e9s d’une semaine de r\u00e9sidence commune entre artistes fran\u00e7ais et cor\u00e9ens. En 2025, Hyuk Kwon, Jaeyoung Lee, Gr\u00e9goire Malandrin et Oc\u00e9ane Robin avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 collabor\u00e9 sur Le regard de l’entre<\/em>. Cette ann\u00e9e, le partenariat prend une dimension nouvelle, inscrite dans la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration diplomatique. Flavien Esmieu r\u00e9sume l’esprit du festival : \u00ab On a gard\u00e9 une part d’improvisation pour rester honn\u00eates dans notre rencontre. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Quand le silence devient source de mouvement<\/h3>\n

Anne-Sophie Lancelin pr\u00e9sente L’\u00c9tau<\/em>, une pi\u00e8ce o\u00f9 le corps devient lui-m\u00eame instrument. Sur le Trio n\u00b02<\/em> de Chostakovitch, chaque accent musical provoque un geste pr\u00e9cis de la main, de la t\u00eate ou du corps entier. Jinho Bae compose une musique qui na\u00eet directement des mouvements de la danseuse. Dans L’Instant Fugace<\/em>, Nayoung Her chante en direct, accompagn\u00e9e par Seyun Ham au piano. Le festival SOUM prouve ainsi que le dialogue entre traditions cor\u00e9ennes et danse contemporaine ouvre des territoires artistiques in\u00e9dits.<\/p>\n
