Cette confrontation directe interroge les limites de la cr\u00e9ation artistique face au bien-\u00eatre animal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\">Le choc esth\u00e9tique comme moteur de r\u00e9flexion<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Les amateurs d&#8217;art contemporain y trouvent des pi\u00e8ces ma\u00eetresses percutantes. Le public retient le Chat boxeur d&#8217;Alain S\u00e9chas ou l&#8217;Orang-outang de Carsten H\u00f6ller. Cette derni\u00e8re sculpture montre un singe transperc\u00e9 d&#8217;une pelle et d&#8217;\u00e9p\u00e9es. En 2005, la Biennale de Lyon avait provoqu\u00e9 un immense scandale. L&#8217;artiste Kader Attia avait enferm\u00e9 des pigeons pour picorer des mannequins de graines. La SPA s&#8217;\u00e9tait alors r\u00e9volt\u00e9e contre le gavage forc\u00e9 de ces oiseaux.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">\u00c9veiller les consciences ou reproduire l&#8217;enfermement<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">\u00c0 la Villette, des loutres nagent dans un bassin et des mainates vivent en voli\u00e8re. Paradoxalement, cette captivit\u00e9 suscite aujourd&#8217;hui une certaine indiff\u00e9rence du public. Les organisateurs affirment vouloir d\u00e9fendre la condition animale par cette provocation.
